As of Tuesday 24th March the dispensary will be close between 1pm - 2pm, Monday - Friday.
As of Friday 20th March, patients collecting their medication will be asked their name and address at the surgery front door. Medication will then be brought to you by one of the dispensary team. Thank you for your understanding.
Reynard Dispensary: 01638 750074 (between hours 9am - 12pm & 2pm - 5.30pm)
This is a dedicated telephone line where you can order your prescriptions and also discuss any medication queries you may have.
We dispense medications directly to patients, from both surgeries, if they live more than 1.6km (approximately 1 mile) from a Pharmacy. (This is a government rule, not ours.)
The Reynard Surgery Dispensary, Red Lodge accepts payments by card using a chip and pin device or contactless payments.
Patients that we are not allowed to dispense medicines to, will be given a prescription to take to a Pharmacy of their choosing and we can send them electronically to a pharmacy of their choice.
The Dispensers will be happy to discuss any queries or questions about your medication. A private room is available, should you not want to discuss this in public at the Dispensary hatch, please just ask.
We no longer have a Dispensary at The Whitehouse Surgery.
You may have received a leaflet in the post or via email inviting you to get your repeat prescriptions from a company called Pharmacy2U or any other online pharmacy.
Pharmacy2U and others are NOT your GP Dispensary or Local Pharmacy. It has no more affiliation with the NHS than any other High Street Pharmacy. Here is some important information you should consider:
- Pharmacy2U and others are a distance-selling (internet only) pharmacy, based on an industrial estate
- As a patient, you cannot have any face-to-face contact with Pharmacy2U. Distance selling pharmacies like this one are only allowed to deal with patients by post, telephone or via the internet but not in person
- Prescriptions from Pharmacy 2U and other similar companies are delivered by Royal Mail unlike your medications which are handed to you by your GP dispenser or local pharmacy with any medication advice you should need.
Please support us to continue caring for you and your family by ignoring any correspondence from Pharmacy2U and obtaining your prescriptions from your GP Dispensary or your Local Pharmacy if you are non-dispensing patient.
Please also note the your details have not been passed to Pharmacy2U or other similar companies from this surgery.
Remember if you do not use us you will lose us!
